Exactal Becomes AIB Supporting Partner
Exactal is pleased to advise that we have entered into a Corporate Partnership with the AIB (Australian Institute of Building) for 2017.
The Australian Institute of Building was established in 1951, and is the leading institute for building and construction professionals; acknowledged for its ability to bring individuals together who share a common interest in improving the standing of the building profession and their career within Australia and overseas. It is the preeminent professional body for building professionals in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
As with our partnership with the NZIQS, Exactal finds it of great importance to support member industry organisations, so we are delighted to be able to participate in this partnership with the AIB and support their members more closely.
The partnership will provide several benefits for members including various CPD presentations, content insertions and much more. Exactal will also be a sponsor of the AIB National Awards Dinner, held on September 2nd in Brisbane.
Penny Dolton, Sales Manager for Exactal Australia & New Zealand, says “I’m very proud that Exactal is an AIB partner. They are a very reputable industry body who strives to support and improve the industry in general, which provides many exciting opportunities for our partnership. Exactal holds similar values and we look forward to working with the AIB and its members to improve their estimating through a variety of events and, of course, our world renowned estimating software, CostX”.
Greg Hughes, CEO of AIB, also notes “The future of the AIB will always prosper with solid relationships that ultimately benefit our membership and the wider profession. I believe that Exactal is a great fit for us in so many ways. We welcome them to the organisation and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial association”.

Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence. It now has offices in Brisbane & Melbourne in Australia, London & Manchester in the UK, Auckland in New Zealand, Austin in the USA, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Singapore and Hong Kong. The company also has sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides an integrated BIM and 2D on-screen measurement solution with a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the drawing files that the estimate represents. This approach keeps estimates up to date and allows drawing revisions to be easily evaluated to eliminate traditional scope creep in construction projects.
